Valorem runs the whole job: instruction, site inspection, comparable sales, risk analysis, peer review, and a compliance-grade Word report generated in one click. Built inside a working Northland practice, not a software company's idea of one.
Free for 30 days, no card needed. Runs in the browser on any device. Installs like an app. Works offline on site.
Council mapping indicates the property sits within an acid sulphate soil overlay which may require additional engineering solutions.
Improvements - 3Possible asbestos. Cladding era warrants testing prior to any renovation work.
Every screen exists because a working valuer asked for it. Data is captured once, at the point it exists, and lands in the report exactly where your template expects it.

Most NZ firms run valuation software that is priced by negotiation, customised by invoice, and updated on someone else's schedule. Moving is easier than it looks, because we have already done it for a working practice.

"Valorem was built job by job inside a working Northland valuation practice that needed to replace its legacy platform. Every feature shipped because a Registered Valuer or Graduate asked for it on a real valuation, then tested it on the next one."
The most common complaint about legacy valuation software is not what it does, it is how long anything takes to change. The response times below are typical of how we actually work, and the written commitments behind them go into every agreement we sign.
Legacy valuation platforms are quoted privately and commonly run past $1,000 a month for a three-valuer practice once support and customisation are counted. Valorem is a third of that, with nothing to pay to get started, and you can see the number before you ever talk to us.
Or $229 per valuer, per month, billed monthly with no commitment.
30 days free, no card needed. Your trial workspace becomes your live workspace when you subscribe, so nothing is re-entered.
Setting you up is our job, not an invoice. Template conversion to like-for-like output, your comparable sales and client records imported, statement library loaded, and training for the whole team. Included, however many templates you run.
Bringing your history across: current jobs plus three years of records and photos are included. Larger archives are $750 up to a terabyte, $1,500 beyond that, because it is days of transfer rather than hours. Most firms never see this line.
Still inside a contract elsewhere? You pay half price for up to six months while your existing provider winds down, so switching never means paying twice at full rate. A three-valuer practice on annual billing is $597 per month, everything included, against the four figures most legacy platforms invoice for the same team. No setup fee and no per-template charges. Annual billing is paid yearly in advance and is not refundable part-way through the year; valuers added during the year are simply prorated to your renewal date, so everyone renews together. Monthly billing stays month to month, cancel any time.
When a firm you introduce goes live, you get a month free for every valuer they bring across. If you find yourself recommending us regularly, ask about our ambassador arrangement. No forms either way, just tell them to mention you.
Yes, exactly. Implementation converts your current Word template tag-for-tag, so the first report Valorem produces is like-for-like with what your clients receive today. A modernised template design is included as an option, and you choose per report.
Field mode syncs the day's jobs to the device before you leave. Photos, rooms, floor areas, sketches and notes all work fully offline and upload when you are back in coverage. This was built for Northland farm work, it is not an afterthought.
Both, as first-class report types. Dairy farm and grazing farm reports ship built in: the productivity approach (kgMS for dairy, stock units for grazing) with the assessed farm value calculated for you, land class tables with areas and totals, SWOT analysis, and the farm production narrative, all flowing into the report alongside residential, vacant land, as-if-complete, insurance and the letter types. Rural valuers are not an afterthought here; the system is built alongside one.
Yes. The 30-day free trial is self-serve: sign up, name your firm, and a worked example job is waiting so you can see field capture, sales analysis and one-click report generation straight away. No card is needed and nothing is charged. If you subscribe, your trial workspace becomes your live one, so nothing you set up is re-entered. And while a firm is on trial, report and invoice emails will only send to your own team's addresses, so you cannot accidentally email a client while testing.
You do, without qualification. Your sales database, statement library, templates and job records are yours; export is available at any time and leaving is a download, not a negotiation.
Panel platform integration is on the roadmap and in active conversation. Today, panel instructions are entered once at job creation (about a minute) and everything downstream is automated. Non-panel work (private, legal, rating, rural, insurance) is fully covered now.
Peer review is a hard gate: only the assigned reviewing valuer or an administrator can approve a job, and every status change is recorded with who and when. Jobs archive rather than delete, supporting your retention obligations.
Almost certainly, and sooner than you think. Most valuation platforms run a rolling term that you can exit at any time on six months' written notice, rather than only at renewal. Check your agreement for the termination clause, not the summary page. Give notice, move to us in the meantime, and you pay half price for up to six months while the old contract runs out.
No, and we would advise against it. Keep the old system running through your notice period. New jobs start in Valorem, anything mid-flight finishes where it started, and the old platform stays available for reference the whole time. There is no cutover weekend and no point at which you cannot produce a report.
A fair question of any small supplier, and it is answered in the agreement rather than left to trust. Every firm has a perpetual licence to keep using the system for its own work, source-code escrow can be included for firms that want it, and any administrator can download the firm's complete records as ordinary files at any time, a button in the app, not a request to us. Nothing about your practice is locked behind us continuing to exist.
No. Monthly billing is month to month: cancel whenever you like and leave with your data as a single export. Annual billing is optional and cheaper ($199 against $229 per valuer per month); it is paid in advance and not refundable part-way through the year, and valuers you add during the year are prorated to your renewal date. Choose whichever suits your cash flow.
Valorem runs as one professionally managed platform where every firm's data is strictly isolated at the database layer: your team can only ever see your firm's records, and that isolation is re-proven by an automated cross-firm test suite before any release can ship. Each firm also has self-serve export of everything it owns, any time. For firms with a policy requirement for fully dedicated infrastructure, a single-tenant deployment is available on request at additional cost; it runs the same software and receives the same updates.
Valorem is a web application: every improvement reaches every firm the day it ships, with nothing to install. Your templates and statement wording never change without you choosing it.
A 30-minute live session: one job run end to end, from instruction and field capture through sales, risk and the finished report, with time for your questions. Register below and we will send you the next session times. Prefer a private demo for your firm? Just say so in the message.
